A little reminder and motivator of why he's there, I guess. :) He loves it. I also let him sleep in all weekend and make his fave, lemon poppy seed muffins. I've personally experienced a local rise in these "collaborative gifting" arrangements with everything from weddings to baby showers. What we do in our family is get together and figure out what he needs and share the cost (it's usually something expensive my dad has crazy taste) we also make sure he doesn't have to cook or do anything really on that sunday! I've also done an old wedding album (they had lost their's in the big move 20 years ago) and framed a picture of my mom from when they met. Happy Father's Day! Making the most of that time together is all about focusing on the other person as best as you can, and really striving for quality of time, not only quantity.
