As our family sits down this evening for our traditional Christmas Eve dinner, I’d like to wish you and your families and friends a very merry Christmas.
For those of you celebrating other holidays, I hope you’re having an equally great time with your loved ones. December is just a great time all around, no matter what your beliefs and traditions.
Speaking of traditions, I sat down to record a short video for all of you, briefly discussing the importance of Christmas in my own family and how family traditions make their way into our own personal finance lives.
I’m excited because this is my first “official” Fiscal Fizzle video post. I hope you enjoy it–there are more videos to come in 2010.

Once again, have an absolutely fantastic holiday season. As the birth of our son approaches quickly, my posting schedule may get a little erratic, but I have a few great posts lined up to keep you entertained. I’ll keep the lights on!
And feel free to weigh in on the question in the video: “What are some of your own family financial traditions?”
